Terms of Use
These terms apply to the DoseReady iPhone app and to this website, doseready.app. DoseReady is made by Maksym Shevchuk, an individual developer (“we”, “us”).
Effective .
The license
Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). The terms below add to it. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.
Practice only, never patient care
DoseReady is exam practice for nursing students. It presents authored practice problems and marks your arithmetic under the rules you enter for your program. It does not work out doses for patients.
- Never use DoseReady for patient care, to prepare or check a medication for a patient, or to make any clinical decision.
- In clinical settings, follow your instructor, your program, the prescriber, the pharmacist and your facility's policies.
- Never enter real patient information into the app. Every problem in it is authored practice content.
Practice, not coursework
DoseReady produces practice for you. Nothing it shows is meant to be handed in as your own work, and it is not meant for use during a graded exam. Follow your program's rules on what you may use and when.
How the problems are made
Every problem is built from published US drug labeling and named references, which it lists under its worked solution. Every answer key is checked against its own worked solution before it ships, and nothing is written by a machine while you practice.
No licensed clinician has reviewed the problem set. Where a problem and the document it cites disagree, trust the document and what your program teaches. If you believe a problem is wrong, email support@doseready.app with a description or a screenshot of it.
Your program's rules
The app presents and grades every problem under the exam policy you enter: passing score, method, rounding rule, calculator rule and sittings. It never fills one in for you, so check it against your current syllabus.
DoseReady is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any nursing program, school, licensing board or exam provider.
Readiness is an estimate
Readiness compares how you are working now with the passing score you entered, over a stated window of recent practice. It is withheld until there are enough answers to support it. It is an estimate, not a statement about any exam, and we make no promise about your grades, exam results or licensure.
Subscription and billing
- Answering problems and the mock exam require an auto-renewing subscription, yearly or monthly. On the US App Store it is $39.99 a year or $9.99 a month; the price in your country is shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the then-current price.
- Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. See Cancel a subscription from Apple.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
- Without an active subscription, your setup and everything you have already practiced stay readable on your iPhone.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, as the Standard EULA describes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any decision made with it, including any clinical decision, and the Standard EULA's limitation of liability applies.
Privacy
What the app and this website collect is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
